Making Of,Meet the Team

Friday Afternoon in the Blender Institute

6 February, 2015 |  3 Comments | Gallery | by Elysia Brenner

Believe it or not, Friday is one of the most intense working days of the week here in the Blender Animation Studio: everyone is always rushing to prepare new graphics, renders, and demos by 6pm so they can show all of you how they spent their week during the YouTube livecast. However, that doesn’t mean we don’t find some time for some random fun, like today’s demo of an Xsens motion-tracking system by studio guest (and animator/former Xsens product specialist) Ivo Slivkov. And, of course, hagelslag (chocolate jimmies/sprinkles the Dutch use to top off buttered bread). After all, what else can you do when your computer is busy rendering, right?

Here’s a peek through Mathieu’s new camera lens. (OK, technically this was Wednesday, but it looks no different today!)

And more photo fun (from today!) for your perusing pleasure:

Your turn: What did you get done this Friday afternoon? (Other than watching the Gooseberry weekly livecast at 6pm, of course!)
