Cosmos Laundromat

It is officially confirmed now! We have a pre-premiere in the spectacular EyeFilm cinema in Amsterdam.
The theater we rented is the smallest one, only 70 people will fit in… but we will do two screenings! The stats:

• Thursday July 30
• EyeFilm, Amsterdam
• Screening at 17.30h and 18:10h in Cinema 4

Want to join?

We invite everyone to join us for the event! But you need to email us to get your name on the guest list. Entrance to the screening is free – but the Gooseberry supporters and Blender Cloud subscribers get on the list first. After the screening you’re welcome to join us in the amazing bar-restaurant of Eye ( best view of town!). Drinks/food there are at your own expenses though – if you want to have dinner there (we will at 19:30h!) you will have to make reservation yourself.

For the screening, we’ll try to get everyone in, especially our loyal sponsors! Most of the seats will go a first-come-first-served basis though, so please e-mail institute at blender.org with the following info:

– Your name + Blender ID (email address for cloud.blender.org)
– Whether you’re bringing a guest (one guest is OK).

I will inform you before 16 July if you are in the first or the second screening. Be there 15 minutes in advance; we will start the screenings right on time! Doors will be locked during screenings.

BTW 2: The event is still called a “pre-premiere”. The first reason is that film might not then be 100% ready…render times for some shots are still worrying us. The other reason is that we are reserving the option to have an official premiere at the Netherlands Film Festival. We will find out whether NFF has selected our film by the end of July. We will then also announce the official on-line launch date.
